Here's the second of four drawings of a series I did to study the feminine anatomy. Here I tried to give her a "Patrick Nagel" look with the Payne's Grey gouache and minimalized, flattened color pallette.
Thanks...yeah gouache (gauche???) is like using opaque poster paint, but it's soooo smooth and rich. I might do this one again done completely with computer. There may be a dramatic difference.

yeah-I dont know how to spell it either. anyway-- yeah I love it for how much color it can hold-or loose- its great stuff. Digital would be cool-- but the only downside is there is never an "original"
yeah it's true....we're always seem to be "rehashing" somebody else's work. Even my comic books...well, as our fellow deviant areml [link] said, you gotta experiment more! For me right now, that's kinda hard to do, with three kids screaming at me all day Anyways, I'll try to post some fresh stuff in the coming days.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
