However, the Pope quit his position yesterday and lightning strikes St. Peter's Basilica dome at the Vatican following the Holy Father's announcement. I don't know about you, but this has gotten me spooked. Although we should not allow superstition to dictate the means of our daily lives, this was too weird to be coincidental. Your thoughts?

Just a little update...it's been 3 weeks since I started my new job. Absolutely fantastic! Wonderful staff and just a great computer shop with a mix of Apple products and Alienware computers! Using them is one thing...fixing them, well, let's just say I'll be happy when the customer is happy

It is with considerable regret to stop my commissions at this time. The good news is that I've landed a full time job!!! I got a Mac techie job, hopefully paving my life back to financial stability. But it is still my hope to be able to do commissions once my work routine has been stabilized. Edit: A commissioner was concerned that the original artwork was not sent after the completion of their piece. I want to stress that printing, framing and shipping is very expensive and is at risk of damage during the shipping process. Unless specifically requested, my finished artwork is emailed to you as a high resolution jpg or png file, 600 DPI at size (usually 11" x 17", 5-10MB file). A lower resolution copy is then posted on DA to further promote my artwork.

OMG another celebrity snuffed out too early. I, like many, grew up listening to Whitney's music. Like most music from her generation, we can hear it serenading in the background in an elevator or in a taxi. Who can forget "Savin' All My Love" or "Dance With Somebody" or "I will Always Love You"?

Despite her troubled life for the past 15 years, I certainly didn't expect it'd come to this. I'm sure the world is grieving on this tremdous loss.

RIP Whitney.

Ah, another year coming to a end. Certainly every year has been filled with challenges, and definitely THIS year was no exception. I'm glad I pulled out of it and back on the road of recovery.
And although I've taken on a new career, art is truly where the heart is at. I will never forget the accomplishments I've achieved, and I hope I can make a few more contributions while I can

Yes, us Canadians already celebrated our Thanksgiving, but since I have so many American followers here and on Facebook, may as well make the most of it! And with Black Friday tomorrow, online shopping is gonna be insane

Anyhow, I mentioned that I may quit artwork indefinitely, but that is still being debated as I try to juggle this crazy life of mine. Half is me torn to fix computers and iPads, the other half wants to sit down to sketch and doodle (on my iPad...nyok) but both requires exceptional amount of time, but only one of them can support my family financially.
